Chart 1

Notes:
  • 1998 use the Jaws flanges
  • 1999 pipes used stock flanges
  • tests performed with a modified crankcase, but stock heads and cylinders
  • use of a "V" series of reed increases power by about another three horsepower
  • power over stock approximately 19-20 horsepower [with reeds] giving broader power peak and a big increase in throttle response.
  • Lean jets will put the power in a low 190's for drag racing.
  • Stock timing is used in all tests
  • Expect a wicked increase in top end speed
  • Use of oversized silencers that exit out of the stock holes - create a throaty sound, but removes the loud bark associated with aftermarket silencers.
  • These pipes are large, but fit neatly under the hood
